Technogenii is the Website of Kristina Schneider, Performance Technologist and Director of Operations at Aviation Strategies International. It features editorials and reviews on events, associations, publications, research and technology in the perfomance and educational technology field. Professional ProfileKristina is a performance technologist who merges instructional and systems technology skills with project and operations management abilities. Furthermore, she has developed substantial experience in consulting, business development and client relationship management. She holds an undergraduate degree in Communication Studies as well as a Master's degree in Educational Technology from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. Kristina started her career in 1990 with the Royal Bank of Canada where she developed her skills in operations management and in customer relationship management. Since 2000, she has developed considerable work experience in systemic needs analysis and instructional design as well as community of practice, knowledge management and social computing (Web 2.0) systems development. She was the Director of Blended Learning Strategies at Documedia, a leading Canadian e-learning producer, where she advised clients on how to plan, design, implement, manage and evaluate their training and professional development projects. She also worked as an Educational Technologist with the Centre for Instructional Technology at Concordia University's John Molson School of Business (JMSB) where she contributed to the development of the joint ICAO-JMSB Aviation Security Management Professional Programme. In addition, her functions included designing distance education courses and reengineering the instructional material development process for the Global Aviation MBA Programme. Currently, Kristina is the Director of Operations at Aviation Strategies International (ASI). Her mandate consists of working on the company’s strategic corporate positioning, business planning and development, including optimizing ASI’s client relation management strategy. In addition, she coordinates the operations of the ASI international network of associates and is working on the launching of the ASI Institute. She is also part of the management team heading the implementation of the online community of practice of the Global ACI ICAO Airport Management Professional Accreditation Programme (AMPAP) for which ASI is the designated Programme Administrator. |
